Elementary Science Olympiad (ESO) @CHES Powered by CAPES

Thank you so much for your interest in the Science Olympiad Club @ CHES. This CAPES program is run by parent volunteers, and is supported by the School administration and the whole CHES community. We have started our journey in the 2026 session, and had great success. We are now looking forward to starting the 2027 session.

For those who will be new, there will be ~15 science topics including ~4 build topics and kids will be taught by parent volunteers for each of them. Any students can attend any topics subject to their schedule. There will be separate communication later on the class timings and topics.

Tentative Timeline for the 2027 Session:

Parent Interest Survey - Open till 14th Aug 2026

Parent-Head Coach 1st Meeting - 20th Aug 2026

First Class - Last wk of Aug or 1st wk of Sept 2026

Thanksgiving & Christmas Break - Based on the school calendar

Event Day Final Student Selection - Mid-Jan 2027

2027 ESO Event - Mid-Feb 2027
